A world and a window

A world and a window

As you stare out the window

The world seems to pass by

With no hope and no glimmer

Just rain and no shine

Across the way is my window

Looking right back at yours

I see a girl made of beauty and love

If only she could see the world so pure

Through my window I leap

Straight toward that love so divine

As I place a mirror in front of yours

To help you see the world through mine.

A poem on depression, self-confidence, and the power of love.
